Description
One session on what a digital footprint is actually made of, and what your student can do about it.
Active footprint is what gets shared on purpose: posts, comments, photos, sign-ups. Passive is what is collected without any direct action: browsing history, location data, cookies. For most people the passive half is far larger than the half they are thinking of.
The unit ends in practical habits rather than alarm — and it is worth running with your own accounts open too. Passive footprint is not a teenage problem.
