Terms of Service

Kitchen Table Curriculum is operated by Wanderlust Innovations, LLC, a limited liability company registered in Georgia, United States. These terms cover everyone who uses the marketplace, whether buying, selling, or browsing.

What Kitchen Table Curriculum is

  • Kitchen Table Curriculum is a marketplace. Independent homeschool families list curriculum and resources they created; other families buy them. We are not the author of what is sold here, and we do not review every resource for accuracy or suitability.
  • When you buy, you are buying from a seller, but you pay Kitchen Table Curriculum. We collect the payment, take our commission, and pass the rest to the seller. Your receipt comes from us, and we are who you contact if something goes wrong.

Buying

  • Everything sold here is digital. When you buy, you get a link to download the files. Those links do not expire, and if you have an account the purchase also appears in your library so you can download it again later.
  • What you buy is licensed for use within your own household, including every child in it. You may print as many copies as your own family needs. You may not resell it, give it away, share it with other families, post it publicly, or use it in a paid class or co-op unless the listing says so.
  • If you need a licence covering a co-op or a group, contact the seller or us before buying. A single-family licence does not cover a group, and buying one for that purpose is a breach of these terms.

Selling

  • You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us permission to display, promote and sell it through Kitchen Table Curriculum, and to make copies as needed to deliver it to buyers.
  • You confirm that what you upload is yours to sell — that you created it, or that you hold a licence permitting commercial resale. Uploading someone else's work is grounds for immediate removal and closure of your store.
  • New stores are reviewed before they become visible, and we may hide a store or a listing at any time — most often for a copyright complaint, a mismatch between a listing and what it delivers, or a resource that is not what it claims to be. A store with nothing on sale three weeks after approval gets a reminder by email, and if it still has nothing on sale three weeks after that, it is hidden until something is; nothing is deleted, and a store that has ever made a sale is never hidden this way.
  • Our commission is 20% of each sale plus a fixed 30¢ per item, unless you are on a different published rate. A sale made through your own share link, within 30 days of the buyer following it, carries 5 percentage points less commission, but never below 10% and never above your usual rate. The rate is fixed at the moment of each sale: if your rate changes later, sales you already made are unaffected.
  • Payouts are made through Stripe to the bank account you connect. They run weekly, on Fridays, a week behind the sale. The delay exists so that a refund can be handled without leaving you with a negative balance.
  • You set your own prices, including free.
  • Pro and founding stores can email people who bought from them, and families who follow their store, through Kitchen Table Curriculum, which never shows you their addresses. A new listing can be announced to followers once. Each person a message reaches uses one email credit. Pro and founding stores get 1,000 credits a month, reset on the 1st (Eastern time), and unused credits don't carry over. Free stores can't send messages. We may pause messages from stores for the rest of a month if our own email allowance runs low, so that receipts and download links always go out.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself.
  • You can stop using Kitchen Table Curriculum at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why.
  • Closing a seller account does not cancel licences already sold — buyers keep what they paid for.

Liability

  • Kitchen Table Curriculum is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that a resource will suit your child, meet your state's requirements, or be free of errors. Curriculum is a judgement call and we are not making it for you.
  • We are responsible for delivering what you paid for and for handling refunds as set out in our refund policy. Beyond that, our liability is limited to what you paid for the resource in question.

These terms

  • We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell sellers by email before it takes effect.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
