Print it once and put it in the drawer. Three complete days for the weeks when the plan falls apart.
Day 1 asks where the training data came from, and has your student sort five real sources by how clearly anyone consented to their use — then write a position on the people paid to do the labeling. Day 2 converts a day's worth of queries into watt-hours and then into something you can picture, and asks for a trade-off your student is willing to defend. Day 3 is about refusal: four requests sorted into refuse, answer, or answer with care, and a policy they have to stand behind.
No devices, no internet, no background in the subject. The answer key marks all three days with the reasoning.
