Your student sees thousands of ads a week and tunes out almost all of them. Ten lessons later they can build one — and see straight through the rest.
Each lesson is a short reading, a worksheet that applies it immediately, a project, and an answer key written for you, so you can mark a subject you have never studied.
Lessons 1 and 2 settle what advertising is for and what separates a forgettable ad from one built on an actual idea. Lessons 3 to 6 are the craft: copy, art direction, positioning, and the psychology of persuasion taught honestly — naming the patterns is exactly what makes them stop working on you. Lessons 7 to 9 are where the money is: media planning, digital targeting, and measuring effectiveness alongside the ethics of doing it. Lesson 10 is the capstone campaign.
No design software and no drawing ability required. Lesson 4 is about what an image is doing and why, sketched by hand.
